Satanic Israeli Death Metal Band Drops Inverted Star of David From Logo
Citing frustration with people “just not getting it,” David Kataan aka Lord of Goatness, vocalist for Israeli death metal band Ooze of Centuries, has decided they will drop the inverted Star of David from its logo on their next demo.
“All the Scandinavian death and black metal bands pretty much covered the anti-Christian thing, I can’t even count on my soul-stained fingers how many of them use inverted crosses in their logo,” Kataan says. “Being an Israeli who has rejected Judaism, I was eager to blend an inverted Star of David into our logo—however this has not been successful.”
Despite the many shrieks of “Take me Satan” and “Do not choose me false Jehovah” that pepper the band’s demo, Endless Eternal Lies, Kataan found that the logo in fact attracted many devout Jews and turned off the very anti-religious metal fans Ooze of Centuries hopes to reach.
“For the new logo I plan to incorporate something safe that cannot be misinterpreted, most likely an inverted goat head.”
