Two US Toddlers Captured by Enemy Father

This past Wednesday afternoon in Des Moines, two US toddlers were captured while playing in the backyard. Sources say that the insurgent who took them prisoner was one of the children’s fathers, who is upset over custody terms in ongoing divorce proceedings.

In the past something like this was called a kidnapping and local law enforcement would be called into handle the matter, but now kidnapping apparently applies to US military personnel out on patrol in Iraq who are captured. Therefore these toddlers are considered POWs and UN officials are being flown in from Belgium to ensure that Geneva Convention rules are being observed until an even prisoner exchange can be worked out with the insurgent father.

The nation has been gripped with concern over the fate of these toddlers, just two members of the nation’s 100,000-strong toddler force. Check this site again next week for a heart-wrenching update.
