Former Wrestling Champion Refuses to Remove Belt in Airport Screening Line

A just-released security camera video shows a much agitated Torres standing firmly in the face of several TSA agents. “I endured years of pain and humiliation to finally get my shot at the belt, only to have it stripped in a controversial cage match a month later,” Torres shouted, referring to his brief stint as WWF champ in 1991.
“Then they sent the Alligator away for a long, long time, but now I’ve returned and I got the belt back,” Torres continued, referring to his 15-year commitment at a New Hampshire mental facility stemming from a nervous breakdown following the aforementioned cage match loss to rival “Steel” Steve Stevens, even though wrestling is fake and Torres would likely have been scripted to win the Intercontinental, Tri-State, or Municipality Championship Belt sometime later that year.
After several tense minutes Homeland Security guards approached Torres, who grabbed two of them and performed his signature Alligator finishing move on them, which was characterized by the wrestler grabbing his opponent under his arms, falling to the floor and thrashing about until the victim is unconscious.
However a nearby police officer began to taser Torres, who immediately fell away from the pile, stripped off his belt and handed it to the officer with head bowed in defeat. He was immediately taken into custody.
Outside the jail where Torres is being held, several dozen men in their late 20s and early 30s held a candlelight vigil in homoerotic support of their fallen idol. “Don’t no one mess with The Gator!” shouted one drunk bearded fan.
